The Future's Looking Healthy For Healthyweigh

Two Bradford based entrepreneurs who met whilst mature students at Leeds University are combining their knowledge and expertise of heath and fitness, to bring a new specialised health service to the region. 

Healthyweigh, the brainchild of Jayne Taylor and Natalie Wright, is a new company that specialises in corporate and gym based health screening and offers professional on-site health checks to detect early signs of chronic illnesses. Services include personal training, nutritional assessments and one-hour healthy lifestyle workshops tailored to suit individual needs.

Jayne and Natalie started Healthyweigh in 2007 and the company has grown from strength to strength. It now boasts Bradford Council Leisure Services and Ventura, Leeds amongst its clients, and Jayne and Natalie are keen to expand even further.

 

“Our main priority is offering a great service and building an excellent reputation in the local area. We both have degrees in Health Related Exercise & Fitness, have experience of working in the health and fitness industry and are members of the Register of Exercise Professionals. We want to become a recognised health promotion company and eventually to have our own premises to enable us to set up a ‘drop in’ health check clinic.”

Jayne and Natalie came to Airedale Enterprise Services for advice prior to setting up Healthyweigh and were given advice and guidance by Phil Harrison.

Through this scheme we were able to have promotional flyers produced and a professional website created free of charge.”
