Carol has worked in the Accounts and Finance sector all her working life. She gained her professional qualifications whilst working for a firm of Chartered Accountants in Keighley. In 1992 she became self employed offering Book-Keeping and Accountancy services to the local area. Carol began teaching in 2003, offering both manual and computerised accounts courses for AES.

The course

An introduction to simple and straightforward manual book keeping. With practical examples and step by step guide to producing your own business records. We enter receipts and payments into our cashbook from invoices and our bank statements. We then produce a bank reconciliation to ensure everything is entered correctly. Keeping your records in the suggested format ensures that you can extract information when needed and Year end figures can be prepared easily.

There will be plenty of opportunity for questions and further practice exercises, but the main aim being, that you leave feeling confident and ready to maintain your own records
